Rates/Insurance

I accept the following insurances:

  • Aetna
  • Oxford (Optum)
  • United Healthcare (Optum)
  • Oscar (Optum)
  • Anthem and Blue Cross and Blue Shield (in Virginia and North Carolina)
  • Blue Cross Blue Shield of Massachusetts (Virtual network) Anthem EAP – Bank of America

I also accept self pay and my hourly rate is $130 per hour for each 50-minute session.

Case management work (letter writing, phone calls, emails) is charged at the 15-minute increments at $130 per hour.

I can provide a superbill for out-of-network services as requested.  A superbill is a detailed invoice that a healthcare provider gives to a patient after services are rendered, especially when the provider is out-of-network with the client’s insurance. It contains the information needed for a client to file a claim for reimbursement. 

Payment:

I use an online portal to manage billing (and scheduling). After each session, the invoice is created. Fees can be paid online through the portal using credit cards, HSA, Google Pay, Link, Zelle, etc.

Good Faith Estimate:

If you do not have health insurance or you plan to pay for health care bills by yourself, health care providers must provide you with an estimate of expected medical charges and services when you schedule an appointment, or if you ask for an estimate. Policy on Cancellations, No Shows:

If you miss a scheduled therapy appointment, and you have not notified me at least 24 hours in advance, you will be required to pay the full cost of the session.
